Welcome to the Menopause Method and your fifteen-minute appointment with me, Dr. R. This is a unique, new opportunity because I’ve spent the last fifteen years teaching doctors how to specialize in menopause medicine and have only had a very small, very elite, group of private patients. This is the first time in all of these years that I’ve been reachable like this!
In preparation for this oh-so-short visit, it’s worth taking a few steps to prepare:
1) Take a moment or two to ask yourself just how has menopause affected YOU? What has changed in your life? What matters most for you to know? Jot down one or two or three of them that are top-of-heart for you.
2) If you have a significant other in your life, it’s worth having him or her present. There is a lot to absorb and a lot of very important information may emerge on this call. Having that person with you can be so helpful. Even if it means rescheduling, so be it!
3) Your meeting will take place on Zoom. An hour or so before it you will receive both a text and an email with links in them. Five or ten minutes before the call, click that link! This will give you time to get your camera and mic up and working before our meet-up. This way you won’t miss a moment of your time together.
4) If you will not be able to make it, please reschedule or cancel as soon as you know. I’m so happy to be having these opportunities to meet up with all of you… and, as you can imagine, my time is precious these days! If you’re not going to be able to make your slot, opening it up for someone else will give her the chance to meet with me.
